Led by Tokyo University of the Arts and in partnership with 41 organizations, the “Arts-Based Communication Platform for Co-creation to Build a Convivial Society,” (commonly known as the ART Co-Creation Platform) aims to foster a society where everyone can express themselves through art communication that integrates welfare, healthcare, and technology.
ABOUT USThe ART Co-creation Platform's vision for the next generation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) focuses on the enrichment of individuals' inner lives as a key to sustainability. Moving beyond material and structural foundations, this approach emphasizes “heartfelt abundance” as a cornerstone for mental health and societal well-being. The idea is to integrate the current 17 SDGs by centering the human spirit, making art a conduit for creating a more interconnected, knowledge-rich society. In addressing the challenges of a super-aging society, particularly the rise of loneliness and social isolation, this initiative aspires to fuse art with fields like social welfare, healthcare, and technology. By doing so, it aims to enhance meaningful connections across communities through art. Key concepts such as "cultural prescriptions" will contribute to a society where the well-being of each individual is prioritized, leading to a collective experience of “heartful abundance” as a measure of societal richness.
