VISION
The realization of an inclusive society where everyone can comfortably be “themselves” through art communication integrated with welfare, healthcare, and technology.
MISSION
To collaboratively research across the fields of art, welfare, healthcare, and technology, while developing “cultural prescriptions” as a cultural activity that creates connections between people and attempts to implement them into society.
To create new networks to encourage people to participate in their community by leveraging the characteristics of art communication, and realizing an inclusive society where everybody can comfortably “be themselves” and no one is left behind in super-aging societies.
Challenges in 2030
Japan is facing the challenges of disability, loneliness, and isolation associated with its super-aged society. In a society where the percentage of people aged 65 and over will exceed 30% after 2030, the inability of the elderly to participate in society and their loss of a sense of purpose and creativity will not only harm individuals' health but also have a significant economic impact on the nation.
Using “cultural prescriptions,” we aim to create an inclusive society where everyone has a “place” and a “role” throughout their lives, leading a happy and healthy life.
Framework of Cultural Prescriptions

We develop Cultural Prescriptions (drawing on the concept of social prescriptions) that integrate art with welfare, healthcare, and technology. Through art-mediated communication, we bridge diverse individuals with society and directly contribute to each person's sense of purpose and dignity. Specialized professionals, called “cultural link workers,” will deliver these to individuals, ensuring that no one is left behind and creating new social pathways for people to engage with society. This will lead to the creation of a society enriched with “richness of spirit”.
